Program Overview

There is nothing more important than the safety of you, your team and your clients. Become a confident LASER operator by learning about radiation and the effects on the human body. We take a deep dive into Skin Optics, Light Physics and compare different wavelengths of the Electromagnetic Spectrum. You’ll discover Light Classifications systems, IPL and Laser safety regulations and risk management. In this WA Radiological Council recognised course, you’ll gain a thorough understanding of the knowledge and skill to becoming an advanced Laser Safety Officer (LSO).

THEORY

The Laser Safety certificate is a self-paced online course which takes approximately 6 hours to complete. In total you have 10 weeks for submission. Included are interactive videos and mini quizzes.

EXAM

Upon completion of theory, you will be directed to the exam which is timed at 2 hours. It is an open book exam so be sure to download your Companion Booklet to refer back to your notes.

PRACTICAL

Practical evaluation days are not a requirement of this course. However, some states and territories have mandated practical hours. If required, contact us about booking in a practical session info@nextlevelaesthetics.com.au.
