This course is a great way to refresh on the fundamentals of skin, whilst learning how to educate clients on how to achieve optimum skin health with effective home care requirements.
At the end of the training, you will be asked to complete a small quiz as well as enjoy a 30 min ”one on one” Q&A with Ainslie or one of our experienced skin experts before receiving your certificate.

What to expect from the day
- Taking you right back to where it all begins our educator Ainslie and “ABIA Therapist of the year 2014” gives a detailed understanding of the intricate life of “the cell” and its many functions.
- Working through each layer of the skin, she will help you identify the many cells, systems and functions housed in each, plus understand the important roles they play.
- With Ainslie’s 15+ years of skin experience and treating some of the most difficult conditions, she is able to confidently explain and simplify what we see visually on the skin, identifying exactly what’s happening and why.
- Finishing off with the fundamentals of home care and in clinic solutions to aid in quality skin correction, we make sure you’re confident in choosing the most ideal actives to prepare the skin before treatment.
Meet your trainer
Ainslie has worked in the Beauty Industry for over 15 years, winning the National title of ABIA Therapist of the Year in 2014. Ainslie holds a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment and has worked as the West Australian Educator and Business Development Manager for one of Australia’s leading skin care companies since 2015.
Ainslie has trained a number of cosmetic doctors, nurses and aestheticians in a variety of clinical treatments and has taken clinic teams to new heights with consultation and retail training.
