What to expect from the day
- Take a look at what makes an ingredient functional and active. Plus the importance of being cosmeceutical over cosmetic.
- Understand delivery systems and the advanced technology used to support the use of active ingredients.
- We take a look at ingredient categories and the purpose they have within a product.
- Learn how to read ingredient listings to confidently compare products.
- Take a closer look at fundamental actives in every form and the vital roles they play within the skin.
- Lastly uncover and understand controversial and nasty ingredients and why to avoid them.
Throughout the session you will have the opportunity to ask questions and you may also be required to partake in discussions.
Meet your trainer
Kerri is an ABIA award winning therapist, with over 10 years experience in skin and beauty. Her attention to detail and customer care is what has contributed greatly to her successes, whilst working in some of Perth’s top spas. As the business development manager and educator for one of Australia’s leading skin care companies, Kerri has trained therapists of all levels in skin correction, consultation, customer service, retail and more. Kerri is a passionate educator who loves advancing and encouraging therapists to reach their goals.
