Program Overview

Retailing can be a daunting task for many……In this interactive course, we work on shifting the mindset from “selling” to recommending/prescribing, in order to support the client’s needs and concerns. We focus on creating a well rounded service to promote a more positive client and therapist experience. We look at ways to also navigate the hurdles associated with retailing and most importantly how to effectively close a sale. This course has been a game changer for hundreds of individuals and teams, ultimately resulting in increased therapist confidence, client longevity and stronger sales percentages.

What to expect from the day

  • Look at the importance of retail and the opportunities it creates.
  • Gain effective tips and techniques.
  • Look at hurdles often associated with retailing and how to overcome these.
  • Learn how to steer the conversation with clients to maximise your retail potential.
  • Focus on how to prevent missed opportunities.
  • Understand what sets your brands apart from others and how to leverage this in your recommendations.
  • Learn how to effectively educate and prescribe.
  • Gain tips on how to effectively close the sale.
  • Look at why follow-ups and reviews are important and how it can build trust between client and therapist.

Throughout the session you will have the opportunity to ask questions and you may also be required to partake in discussions.

Meet your trainer

Ainslie has worked in the Beauty Industry for over 15 years, winning the National title of ABIA Therapist of the Year in 2014. Ainslie holds a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment and has worked as the West Australian Educator and Business Development Manager for one of Australia’s leading skin care companies since 2015.

Ainslie has trained a number of cosmetic doctors, nurses and aestheticians in a variety of clinical treatments and has taken clinic teams to new heights with consultation and retail training.
